Campus Informal and Level One Grievances
This past summer, Texas School Procedures updated all campus processes and documents to handle initial parent concerns and grievances that changed in the recent 89th Legislative Session, which is found in the Campus Operational Section.
- TxSP has included an Informal and Level 1 Protocol filing drawer, including a new parental rights protocol and two updated protocols on the informal and Level 1 processes.
- The second filing cabinet includes all the updated documents, letters, and scripts for the administrators to implement the protocols.
- Filing cabinet three contains an updated poster to be placed on campuses.
Levels 2 and 3 District Appeals and Grievances
TxSP posted both the campus and district updates in our newsletter this summer. That changed in the recent 89th Legislative Session, which is found in the District Operational Section.
Included are filing drawers for:
- Two protocols for grievances: one concerning parental rights and another for the overviews for Levels 2D and 3D.
- Level 2DL grievances documents, letters, and scripts to implement the protocols.
- Level 3DL grievances documents, letters, and scripts to implement the protocols.
Now might be a good time for each district to review the information we sent in our Newsletter, dated December 9, 2025.
