Tips for increasing usage!

  1.  Share the website and sign-in credentials with all campus administrators, counselors, nurses, district administrative staff, support staff, and HR. If you have any questions email Nancy,  nrouse@txschoolprocedures.com.
  2. Schedule a TxSP Review Session for the district leadership team. TxSP research and data show that the districts that have annual reviews increase their usage and compliance with the educational laws and new research-based practices. We can, based on your needs, review the whole website or various sections. Complete and submit this form or email Michelle,  mcapener@txschoolprocedures.com.
  3. Have all users subscribe to our newsletter to keep up with updates and important information.
  4. Read the newsletter and if a newsletter highlights a section that your district needs  procedural assistance or use of our documentation, review the newsletter in meetings and determine if this is an area that the district needs to adopt for consistency and compliance.
  5. Review protocols and documents during District Leadership, Principal and Assistant Principal, Counselor, Nurse, HR, Support Staff (Sped, 504, DAEP, homeless, etc.), C&I, etc. meetings.
  6. Familiarize yourself with all the training materials in the Training Section that can be used for staff meetings, counselor training, etc.
  7. Use the search feature when you want to know if TxSP covers a certain topic.
  8. Ensure the TxSP district’s contact/liaison reads and responds to the emails that are addressed to them – particularly for those annual password changes.
  9. Do not print or download whole sections to a shared district server. TxSP monitors state and federal law, clarifications from the DOE and Office of Civil Rights, new research, etc. on a DAILY basis. TxSP writers modify, update, delete, and add to protocols and documents on a regular basis. Get your materials straight from the website for the most updated information.
  10. Consider requesting TxSP to provide staff development for your district. We offer very competitive prices and provide discounted rates to our subscribers. We are almost full for the first semester but have some spaces available for spring and summer.
