Some districts choose to just jump in once everyone is trained on the purpose and ways to use the website, while other districts break it down into priorities and sections for gradual implementation.
No, but TxSP recommends that this become the District’s one place to locate all updated documents to ensure consistency across the district. Once districts compare their local documents to those housed on the site, they see that they are either similar in nature or better and will adopt those on the site.
Email us using the document request form, upload your document that you want changed, and we will consider all reasonable changes.
TxSP has various times during the year that we prorate our prices.
No, only those that are complex and likely to lead to litigation. However, many of our subscribing districts have their own attorneys who have viewed our documents and approved them for District use.
No, but it will better prepare you because you should have all actions documented as well as a written process that has been followed, as outlined in TxSP step-by-step protocols.
Yes, TxSP does not take the place of either but provides information and documents that support the TASB policies. TxSP consults with attorneys for our product, but it does not take the place of legal counsel.
